Marguerite "Margie" (Bonaccorso) Clifford-Moseley, 77, of Spencer, formerly a longtime community active resident of Auburn, passed away Thursday, July 9th 2015, surrounded by the ones she loved. Born in Boston on July 8th 1938, Margie was the only child of Michael F. and Hazel Bonaccorso. She grew up in Dorchester, graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School and Newbury College. In 1958, Margie married Paul R. Clifford, Sr. and settled in Southborough to raise their family. They lived in love, family, devotion and community for the next 50 years, in Southborough, Auburn and their summer home on Lake Whittemore, until Paul passed away in August of 2008. High school sweethearts, who grew up in the same neighborhood of Dorchester, accompanied each other to the Prom and dated for a time, Frederick A. Moseley and Margie found each other again after both their spouses passed. They rekindled their love from high school and married; for the next five years until Margie passed minutes after the completion of her 77th birthday, they lived in love once again, on Lake Whittemore in Spencer. Margie worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the funding office of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for 14 years before retiring. She previously worked for several companies including Genzyme in Boston. Active politically in her town of Auburn and State of Massachusetts, Margie served on the Mass State Republican Committee and Auburn Town Republication Committee's where she was Town Committee Chairwomen, The Auburn Town Meeting and Housing authority member for over 10 years. A diehard New England Professional sports Fan, she found time to watch the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. She also found peace, tranquility and love on Lake Whittemore, enjoying the mornings, pontooning on the lake and the sounds of nature. She was a dedicated wife to Paul and now Fred, cherished her children and step children and especially her grandchildren. Family was her life and having all with her as much as possible was the times she enjoyed. Margie is survived by her devoted lifetime friend and husband of the last five years, Frederick A. Moseley; three children, John D. Clifford of Auburn, Paul R. Clifford, Jr and his wife Debra of West Boylston, Lynda B. Clifford and her longtime companion, David Hammond of Auburn; her son in law, Frederic Biederman; five Step children, Frederick A. Moseley and his wife Lynn of Millbury, Daniel Moseley and his wife Lisa of Brimfield, Timothy Moseley of Austin Texas, Andrew Moseley and his wife Kathleen of Ogunquit Me, Patricia Vattes and her husband Chris of Clinton; 15 total grandchildren, Ryan, Steven, Marissa, Stephanie, Christopher, Joshua, Devon, Patrick, Brandon, Elizabeth, Michelle, Bobby, Jameson , Killian and Michael; Nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A daughter, Lori A Clifford passed away in February of 2008. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, July 14th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 15th at 10:30 am in the funeral home, the Rev Brian M. Grover, officiating. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery, Newton Mass.
