Diana G. Jones

Diana G. (Anderson) Jones, 67, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Saint Vincent Hospital. Diana is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Curtis Jones; her mother, Muriel E. (Carlos) Anderson; three sisters, Barbara C. Harris, Gayle E. Anderson, and Janice L. Anderson, all of Worcester; five brothers, Charles F. Carlos, Kim L Anderson, and Curtis W. Anderson, Jr., all of Worcester, Alan C. Anderson of Rochester, NY, and Robert R. Anderson of Leicester; many nieces and nephews. Diana was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Curtis W. Anderson, Sr. and his lived here all her life Diana worked for many years as a private home care provider, having previously worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance here in Worcester. She was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church, she loved to read and loved her family. Family was of the utmost importance to her, she was a devoted daughter, sister and especially loving aunt. Her nieces and nephews were the children she never had; she loved them dearly. Diana's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the "angels" that cared for her in the I.C.U. and P.C.U. departments at Saint Vincent Hospital; their care and compassion was a blessing felt by Diana and her family. A Calling Hour for Diana will be held on Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., all occurring in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will be held privately.
