Lovella (Speight) Green, 60, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Saint Vincent Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Retired U.S. Army Sergeant Bernard Green. Lovella is survived by three daughters, Schnelle Ravenelle, Roberta S. Ravenelle-Taylor, and Schavone Green, all of Worcester; two sons, Donnie Scott of Worcester, and Specialist Bernard M. Green, U.S. Army of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Robert, Omari, Messiah, and Asael Ravenelle, JaMarcus, JaMarkia, Dillon, and Milon Taylor, and Shiloh Green; nine brothers, Willie, Sumter, Henry, Levi, Leroy, Jimmy, Demetris, Robert Speight, and J.C. Price; five sisters, Berdia Sheppard, Rosetta Speight, Marnice Frederick, Mattie Payton, and Diane Gyasi; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lovella was born in Panola, Alabama, daughter of the late, Willie D. and Mary B. (Cameron) Speight. Lovella was a CNA, working primarily as a private duty care-giver. She had also worked for Avon Cosmetics. She was a loving woman, who believed in God and family. A Memorial Service for Lovella will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 12 Noon in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. There are no Calling Hours.
