Therese M. "Terry" (Dymek) Fava, 48, of Leominster, formerly of Worcester and Leicester, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 in Memorial Hospital, surrounded by loving family. Terry is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Jonathan M. Fava; her mother, Irene (Makowiecki) Dymek of Leicester; three brothers, Paul Dymek and his wife Maryanna of Worcester, Edward Dymek and his wife Elizabeth of Spencer, and Stephen Dymek and his wife Cheryl of Leicester; a sister, Mary Ann Georgian and her husband Stephen of East Brookfield; her brother in law, Michael Gagan and his wife Michelle of Sutton; her mother and father in law, John and Karolyn (Kushner) Fava of Armonk, NY; a sister in law Jennifer Fava of Brookfield, CT; many nieces and nephews, who were like her own children, Rebecca, P.J., Ali, Mary, Emily, John, Nicole, Andrew, and Stephen Michael; several grand nieces and a grand nephew. Terry was predeceased by her sister, Diane Gagan in 2003. Terry was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, John Dymek. She grew up in Worcester and Leicester and graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Worcester. She later earned her Bachelor's Degree from Fitchburg State. Terry loved her work at The Hanover Theatre in Worcester; she was able to interact with so many people in the organization and the theatre goers, with her work in the box office and customer service. She had previously worked in customer service for Verizon. She and Jonathan were fortunate in that they were able to travel the world; they took more than a dozen cruises and traveled to Europe and other destinations. She enjoyed music from The Beatles, the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, and was a big time fan of Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. For all she was able to do in her short time on earth, it was time spent with her husband, her family and her cat Abigail that gave her tremendous joy and comfort. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, June 23, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
