Arleen Vega

Arleen Vega, of Worcester, a loving and beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and beautiful spirit passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2015 in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. She was 42 years young and was surrounded at the end by her adoring family who marveled at her courage, dignity, and shining radiance. Arleen was born on July 14, 1972 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her four devoted children, Angel D., Jonathan, Leishla M. and Yesica I. Berrios all of Worcester; her father, Alberto Vega and her mother, Ana Marquez both of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Ivette and Yahaira Vega both of Worcester and nine grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 in Saint Joan of Arc Church. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in the church, followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
