WORCESTER - Jeanette (Robinson) Richmond, 91 died Friday, May 22nd in the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her loving husband of 51 years Elmer Mason Richmond died May 18, 2012. She leaves a son Mark Richmond and his wife Wendy of Worcester, a daughter Lisa (Richmond) Cohen of Worcester, a brother Kenneth Robinson of North Carolina, 4 grandchildren, Amanda M. Logan and her husband Patrick, Michael Richmond and his fiancé Trista Sedoma, Lillian and Sarah Cohen and 4 great grandchildren, Elijah and Madison Richmond and Mason and Andrew Logan. She was predeceased by her brother Jacob Z. Robinson. She was born in South Portland Maine the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Yanofsky) Robinson and moved to Worcester when she was 12 years old. In her youth Jeanette excelled as an athlete in many different sports. She grew to become a world record holder in the sport of candlepin bowling and was inducted into the Candlepin Bowling Hall of Fame in November of 1999.Jeanette was a bookkeeper for many Worcester area business's for over 40 years and retired in 1986. She was a long time member of Shaarai Torah West, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Healthcare Center and Hadassah. Her greatest joys came from being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 26th at Congregation Beth Israel, 15 Jamesbury Drive, Worcester, MA01609. Burial will be in Holy Society Cemetery in Leicester. Memorial observance will be announced.
