Olga Nicholas

Olga (Sthika) Nicholas, 96, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Parsons Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her husband, Louis Nicholas, pre-deceased her in 1963. Olga is survived by a son, Robert Nicholas of Hudson; a daughter, Joan Smith of Paxton; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Olga was pre-deceased by her son, James Nicholas in 2008; and by two brothers and two sisters, Mitchell Sthika and Christi Sthika, Bessie Giantris and Connie Dhoku. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Vangil and Olympia (Mitti) Sthika. Olag was a member of Saint Mary Albanian Orthodox Church. She loved her family and took great pride in having cared for her son, James for many years. Services are being held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester is assisting her family.
