Sandra J. Kowalski-D'Onofrio

Sandra J. (Bechard) Kowalski-D'Onofrio, 68, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. Sandra is survived by her husband, Joseph P. D'Onofrio; a daughter, Lisa Marie Kowalski and her fiancé Sean Anderson of Worcester; a son, Francis R. Kowalski and his wife Sandra M. Kowalski of Worcester; a brother David "Joe" Bechard of Worcester; six sisters, Donna Bechard of Millbury, Patricia Colby of Worcester, Shirley Green of Sturbridge, Cynthia Peel of Worcester; Nancy Nugent of Worcester, and Mary Tsimis of Maine; two grandchildren, Cameron Nicholas Anderson and Cody Howe; many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Joseph and Eleanor (Legor) Bechard, and has lived here all her life. Sandra worked in the housekeeping department at Memorial Hospital for several years, before she retired. She was a member of the former Saint Charles Boromeo Parish; and loved to be with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with her family for Calling Hours on Thursday morning, May 7, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a procession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
