Kimberly (Whitney) Crue, 44 of Worcester; a devoted wife, mother,daughter and sister passed away Saturday, April 18th 2015 with her family gathered at her bedside after suffering a stroke earlier in the week on Monday. Kimberly was born in Worcester, one of five children of Ronald and Anna (Paquette) Whitney. She grew up in Worcester, and graduated from North High School. Sweethearts in high school, Kim met Jason Crue in 1987, and they were married in 1993. Settling in Worcester they began their life together raising their family and have lived happily in love since 1987. Kimberly worked many years as a certified nurse assistant for the Shrewsbury Nursing home before becoming disabled. Kim then took pleasure becoming a stay at home mom caring for her husband and twin sons. She was a beautiful person who cherished the ability to help others. If someone needed help, Kim was the first to volunteer. She had a great sense of humor that could light up any room she entered; a great smile and huge heart. Kim loved all sports and especially watching her children play sports. She also loved trips and vacations to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Kim also loved dancing and was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 22 years, Jason E. Crue; her twin sons she adored, Jason E. Jr. and Bryan K. Crue; her mother Anna (Paquette) Whitney; three brothers, Louis Whitney in NY, Michael Whitney in Oregon, and Scott Whitney of Worcester; a sister, Sherry Whitney of Worcester; her father in law, James "Jim" Crue of Hudson; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Thursday April 23rd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Friday, April 24th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St where her Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Crue children educational fund, care of Bank of America, 945 Grafton St. Worcester 01604.
