Gerald "Brad" G. Bradford, 83, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at UMass Hospital. Gerald is survived by his loving companion of forty years, Theresa (Godey) Cronin; two sons, Steven Bradford of Denver and Scott Bradford of Worcester; two daughters, Patricia Bradford of Carmel, Indiana, and Amy Cronin of Worcester; two step-sons, Brian Cronin and Michael Cronin, both of Worcester; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his former wife, Barbara (Hession) Bradford of Worcester; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Bryan Jean Bradford in 1995. Gerald was born in Caribou, Maine, son of the late Jean and Lena (Brown) Bradford. He served his nation proudly in the United States Navy, during the Korean Conflict. Gerald was owned P & P Motors on Millbury Street in Worcester for many years, having previously operated Brad's Canteen Trucks in the Worcester area. He loved to golf, travel, and anything to do with cars. His greatest love was his family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 5 p.m., in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
