Beatrice Soloperto LaCava, died peacefully at 103 years of age, on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2015, in Knollwood Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas LaCava of Concord, NH; her sisters, Eleanora Grillo of Worcester, and Jennie O'Rourke of Shrewsbury; her brothers, Leonardo Soloperto and Dante Soloperto, both of Worcester, Americo "Ski" Soloperto and Angelo Soloperto, both of Miami. Beatrice was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, John and Elvira (Stranieri) Soloperto. Beatrice is survived by four daughters, Helen Wing of Nashua, NH, Marilyn Aieta of Grand Junction, CO, Diana Wirth of Eglisau, Switzerland, and Santina LaCava of Ashville, NC; a son, Nicholas Thomas LaCava of Holden, MA; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Calling Hours and Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. The Calling Hours will be from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. In thanksgiving for a well-lived good life, and in lieu of flowers, donations to her childhood church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester, would be appreciated.
