Kathleen E. (O'Connor) Tebeau, of Worcester passed away peacefully in Millbury Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 79. Her husband of 57 years, Robert J. Tebeau passed away recently on February 25, 2015 Kathleen was born on August 23, 1935 in Worcester, Massachusetts and was preceded in death by her father Cornelius "Connie" O'Connor and her mother Eileen (Mahoney) O'Connor. She was a graduate of St. Peters High School and lived in Worcester her entire life. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Patricia A. Labbe and her husband Leon of Worcester and Sharon M. Battelle and her husband Gary of Worcester; three grandchildren, Jessica Kowaleski, Justine Baez, and Robert Battelle, and two great grandchildren Tessa and Mia Baez. Kathleen was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary's Church in Worcester and an active member of Saint Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. She worked in sales for the former Jordan Marsh & Co and for Michaels Craft Store in Shrewsbury, MA. Kathleen was a proud member of the West Boylston VFW Post 6907 Ladies Auxiliary. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed taking her afternoon walk around the neighborhood, watching soap operas, Hallmark movies, and shopping. She also looked forward to the monthly luncheon with her very dear friends. The family would like to express their most heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the amazing doctors, nurses, nurses aides and staff of the Millbury Nursing Home for all the care, compassion and understanding to Kathleen. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Wednesday, April 1st from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Holy Thursday, April 2, 2015, from the funeral home, with a procession to Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, where a Liturgy of The Word Service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Kathleen will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband in St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford.
