Charles F. Salvail

Charles F. Salvail, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-eight years, Mary A. (Murphy) Salvail. Charles is survived by a nephew, Victor Blais and his wife Harriet; a great nephew, Jonathan Blais and his wife Rachel; and an aunt, Marguarite Blais, all of Worcester. He was born in Greenville, NH, son of the late, Ernest and Olive (Blais) Salvail. He served his nation proudly in the United States Navy, during World War II. Charles owned New England Meter Repair in Worcester, for many years, before retiring in 2004. Funeral Services will be held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, is assisting his family with services.
