Lee M. DeBoise, Sr. 50 of Worcester passed away unexpectedly in his sleep Wednesday, February 25th 2015, joining in heaven his son, Lee M. DeBoise, Jr. who passed away in 2010. . Lee was born October 22, 1964, in Worcester four children of Winthrop H. and Juliet R. (Foster) DeBoise. He graduated from Worcester Public School, attended Worcester Junior College and Georgia Technical Institute, and lived here all his life. Lee worked as a Laborer for the Local 243, International Laborers Union, on many construction projects in the New England Area. Lee is survived by his son, Lance DeBoise; his parents Winthrop H. DeBoise, Sr. and Juliet R. (Foster) DeBoise all of Worcester; his two sisters, Lisa T. DeBoise of West Boylston and Julie J. DeBoise of Atlanta; a brother, Winthrop DeBoise, Jr.; three granddaughters, Olivia, Asia and Victoria; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lee attended Belmont AME Zion Church; enjoyed Reading and NASCAR. He was a member of local 243, Laborers International Union. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5th at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will follow privately in Hope Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 11:00 am to the time of the service in the funeral home.
