Jorge A. Caraballo, Sr.

Jorge A. Caraballo, Sr., 55 of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Boston Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Jorge is survived by four daughters, Xaimara and Xiomara Leon and Luz and Zuleika Caraballo; two sons, Reginald and Jorge A. Caraballo, Jr. all of Worcester; fifteen grandchildren; his mother, Luz Mariana Caraballo of Cuba. Jorge was born in Havana-Guines, Cuba. He worked many different jobs as a handy man but most recently worked maintenance for Fortuna Market. Jorge loved dancing, listening to music and cooking Cuban food. He enjoyed helping others and was a very giving person. Jorge's greatest enjoyment was being around his family but especially spending time with his grandchildren. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. There will be a procession departing from the funeral home at 11 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 for interment service in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Flowers are welcome.
