Joan V. (Gallo) Masiello, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and beloved wife of the late William Masiello, passed away on February 18 after a brief illness. She was born in Worcester, MA on December 29, 1931, to the late Anna and Jeremiah Gallo. She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester. Joan was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, loved spending summers on Cape Cod, baking and cooking Italian meals, chatting with her friends, and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her two treasured daughters, Deborah Masiello of Worcester and Sandra Barnatchez of Weymouth, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alicia and Jeremy Banks of Brooklyn, NY, Allison and Matthew MacLeod of Braintree, MA and her precious great-grandson William. She was a wonderful Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lucille Gallo White. Joan's sparkling personality, smile and love will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
