Joseph Frederick LaRochelle, Jr. of Auburn passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of thirteen years, Noemi (Ribot) LaRochelle; four loving daughters, Joann M. LaRochelle of Worcester, Gina M. and Lisa J. LaRochelle both of New York City and Deanna L. LaRochelle and her fiancé Douglas F. Pavone of Webster; his parents, Joseph F. and Pauline (Bucciaglia) LaRochelle, Sr.; two step-children, Anthony M. and Jessica A. Estrada both of Worcester; his mother-in-law, Ernestina Ribot of Clinton; his father-in-law, Carlos J. Ribot of Puerto Rico; a brother, David A. LaRochelle; four grandchildren and two nephews. Joseph was born in Worcester and graduated from Shrewsbury High School. He was the owner and operator of Logistics01 for 7 years, where he delivered caskets for Batesville Casket Company. He previously owned LaRochelle Moving and Trucking Company for many years. Joseph loved music and playing the guitar. He enjoyed fishing and biking. Joseph loved and was committed to his family and lifelong friends. He was admired for helping others in any way possible. Joseph's funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately. A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, February 20th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
