Pamela M. (Koniak) Terlizzi

Pamela M. (Koniak) Terlizzi, 53 of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 at home with her family after a long battle with breast cancer. Pamela is survived by her beloved husband of twenty-five years, Joseph P. Terlizzi; her son, Michael S. Bachelder and her daughter, Gabrielle M. Terlizzi all of Auburn; a sister, Krystal Koniak of Livermore Falls, Maine; her mother-in-law, Michelena Terlizzi of Worcester; a brother-in-law, Dr. Michael Terlizzi and his wife Elizabeth of Andover; two sisters-in-law, Maria Johnston and her husband James and Linda Bonder and her husband Michael all of Holden and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, Frank Koniak. Pamela was born in North Tonawanda, New York, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Hahn) Koniak. She graduated from Fitchburg High School. Pamela worked as a processing specialist in the underwriting department for Nationwide Insurance for twenty-four years retiring in 2013 due to illness. Pamela enjoyed gardening and making jewelry. Services for Pamela will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church-St. Ann Parish, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours have been changed to Wednesday, January 28th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
