Taylor Jaye "T" Powers, 29, a lifelong resident of Holden, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday January 10th 2015. Taylor is survived by the ones he loved and who loved him; his father and Buddy, Paul D. Powers Jr, his mother and pal, Robin Jaye (Ostergard) Powers both with whom he lived; His brother and best friend, Paul D. Powers III and his wife Christine; the love of his life Lauren Smith; his paternal grandmother, Lucille (Granatna) Powers and maternal grandmother, Palma D. (Ostergard) DiBaro; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family members and friends. His maternal grandfather Irving P. Ostergard and paternal grandfather, Paul D. Powers Sr. both predeceased him. Taylor was born in Worcester, graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and has lived in Holden all his life. Taylor worked with his father and brother for the family business Paul D. Powers Jr. & Sons Trucking. Taylor is remembered today and will always be remembered for his big heart and kindness to all. This world as we know it has truly lost a gem. Have no fear, for when we look to the sky and see the brightest star, you'll know it is Taylor and he is watching over us each and every one. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Wednesday January 14th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will follow at 7 pm. Taylor will be entombed next to his grandfather privately in St John Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Taylor's name may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St. Worcester 01606.
