Jacqueline G. (Wheeler) Berthiaume, loving wife, mother, and beautiful spirit passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014 in Millbury Health Care Center. She was 85 years old and surrounded at the end by her adoring family. Her husband of 59 years, Anthony L. Berthiaume passed away on June 1, 2007. Jacqueline, a longtime resident of Shrewsbury was born on September 5, 1929, in Worcester, Massachusetts and was preceded in death by her father, William Alexander Wheeler, and her mother, Noami Mildred Adams. Jacqueline is survived by her son and daughter in-law Robert and Helenanne Berthiaume of Shrewsbury; three granddaughters, Cindy Sullivan, wife of Ed of Boston, Brenda Hayden wife of Matthew of Worcester, and Amanda Berthiaume of Shrewsbury; five adored great grandchildren, Holly Sullivan, Connor, Thomas and Emily Hayden and Jacob Pimentel. Jackie was a loving wife and dedicated mother and grandmother. She was a long time employee of Data General in Southborough. She was a very hard worker and loyal to all whom knew her. She loved playing cards, camping and her Sunday dinners with her family she adored. . Family, friends, and others whose lives Jacqueline touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Saint Anne Church, 130 Boston Tpke in Shrewsbury. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
