Jeanne (Ure) Kamyck, 64, of Worcester died Wednesday December 17th 2014, surrounded by her family. Jeanne was born, March 31, 1950, in Somerville, the daughter of William and Jeanne (Theriault) Ure, who predeceased her as well as her brother John Ure. She graduated from Westboro High School and Salter School. Jeanne then worked for many years as an Executive Secretary for the Wyman-Gordon Company in South Grafton. Jeanne leaves behind, her ex-husband and friend, David J. Kamyck of Worcester; her son David M. Kamyck, his wife Diane and their children, Emily, Gabriella, Kayley and Aleksander of Worcester, her son Michael P. Kamyck, his wife Michelle and their children Alexis and Nicholas of Auburn; her daughter, Jennifer A. Russell, her husband Anthony Jr. and their children Anthony III, Ruby and Sean of Worcester. Jeanne also leaves four sisters, Janet Pratt of South Grafton, Diane Fernow of Simsbury CT, Barbara McGlinchy of Spencer and Karen Bleakney of Westborough. Many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was devoted to her family and friends; she enjoyed endless hours of imaginative and creative times with her grandchildren. Jeanne loved people and made everyone feel important and wanted. With her big heart, she embraced everyone she met, exactly as they were and they then became family. Jeanne loved to laugh and make others laugh. She will be truly missed by many. Calling hours will be held Monday, December 22nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 23rd from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to assisting family in Massachusetts living with Huntington's Disease, care of the Mass General Hospital, dept. of Neurology, care of Dr. Rosas, 149 13th Street room 227S, Charlestown, MA 02129.
