Pasquale P. Bianco, 72 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by his devoted family. Pasquale is survived by his three daughters, Christina A. Wiseman and her husband Stephen of Fiskdale, Martta A. Plouffe and her husband Christopher of Brimfield and Maria Bianco of North Brookfield; two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Bianco both of Worcester; a sister, Rafaella Algieri of Worcester; nine grandchildren; his former wife, Linda S. (Aijala) Lebel of Boca Raton, FL; many nieces and nephews including Ermenia "Amy" and Rosaria Perrone both of Worcester.; He is predeceased by a brother Francesco Bianco. Pasquale was born in Acri, Province of Cosenza, Italy, a son of the late Luigi and Adella (Scaglione) Bianco. He immigrated from Italy in 1968 at the age of 26 where he settled in Worcester and has lived ever since. Pasquale worked as a welder for Arduini Scrap Metal for many years before opening his own business, Bianco's Welding, retiring in the 1990's. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, loved playing cards, going to the beach and the casino. Pasquale was devoted to his family and friends and valued the relationships he had with them. Pasquale was a family provider and took very good care of them by helping all of his family immigrate from Italy and settle in America. He loved to laugh and always enjoyed life to the fullest. Services for Pasquale will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will be at a later time in Acri, Italy. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 18th from 4-7 p.m.in the funeral home.
