Sharyn Jackson

November 30, 1947 — December 8, 2014

Sharyn (Silverman) Jackson, 67 of Sutton, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully with her loving family gathered by her bedside. Sharyn was born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of Saul and Mimi (Eisen) Silverman. After moving to Philadelphia, Sharyn met and married the man who would become her devoted husband for the next 40 years, Stan Jackson. Sharyn's husband Stan passed away in 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Whittier and her husband Michael of Sutton, Tracy Linacre and her husband Charles in South Dakota; a sister Aileen Walsh of Las Vegas; five grandchildren Traci, Tabitha, Corey, Hannah, and Sarah; and a great grandchild, Riley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10th at 5:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be private. The Jackson family will receive guests from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm prior to the service. Memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Salmon Center for Early Education, 85 Beaumont Drive, Box 940, Northbridge, MA.
