James R. "Borris" Phaneuf-O'Brien, 32, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014. James is survived by his son, Seth D. O'Brien, age 12, of Worcester; the love of his life, Erica Kerswell; his parents, Debra J. O'Brien and David W. Phaneuf, all of Worcester; a brother, David W. Phaneuf of Rochdale; two sisters, Amy L. Camejo and her husband Cesar, and Amanda M. Phaneuf all of Worcester; a niece, Olivia Phaneuf; a person close to his heart, Trent; his maternal grandparents, James R. and Madline (Pratt) O'Brien of Leicester; his beloved dog, Dozer; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. James was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Alice Phaneuf. He worked as a delivery driver for Better Electric Company in Worcester. James loved his family and his sons was the light of his life. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, purchasing his first motorcycle at the tender age of seven; and was extremely happy participating in any outdoor activity, such as fishing, hiking or motorcycle riding. James was a loving person, who would take the shirt off his back for you, because he cared. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 20 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
