Harold B. Cline, a longtime resident of Worcester was stricken ill at home and passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 31st 2014; he was 91 years of age. Harold was born in Napolean, Ohio the son of Arthur and Mildred (Shank) Cline. He graduated from East Liverpool High School, and joined the U.S. Navy to serve his country. In 1957, Harold married the woman he devoted the rest of his life to; Gladys T. Capone until Gladys passed away. Together in 1964 Harold and Gladys moved to Worcester eventually settling in the Capone family home in an Italian neighborhood off Shrewsbury St. where he has lived ever since. Harold worked as a locksmith for over 50 years. He began his career with A.L. Puritan Company, then founding his own company HB Cline Company working until recently. Harold is survived by his daughter, Catherine Mangaudis and her husband Mark; the grandchildren he adored Matthew, Melyssa, and Nicole Mangaudis and Emily Dyson and her husband Sergeant Daniel Dyson USMC. Many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Besides his wife Gladys, Harold was pre deceased by his siblings Fred L Cline and Vivian Prentice. Harold; a quiet gentleman who loved his computer, reading, crossword puzzles, old movies and music. The most important part of his life was his wife, children and grandchildren. He was devoted to them, their wellbeing and success. The times spent with them were the most precious in his life. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, November 5th 2014, from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral will be celebrated Thursday, November 6 th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 am in St Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial with military honors will follow in St John Cemetery.
