Barry S Jaffee

WESTBOROUGH - Barry Lewis Jaffee a well known local CPA died Tuesday, Oct. 28th in Umass Hospital. He leaves his wife of 45 years Phyllis (Galfand) Jaffee, a daughter E. Ariel Jaffee and a sister Ellen Jaffee Zeller. He was born in Boston the son of Jacob J and Freida (Baskin) Jaffee and lived in Worcester. He graduated Worcester Academy, received a BA from Brown University and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a Certified Public Accountant and the owner of Jaffee Associates in Worcester. He was a former board member of Worcester International Artist Series, Worcester Academy and its Alumni Association. He was a former member of Congregation B'Nai Shalom in Westborough, the Westborough Area JCC and the Worcester Area Chamber Of Commerce. He was a current active member of the board at the Jewish Healthcare Center. Barry was an avid world traveler having visited over 85 countries worldwide. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 31st in Mercadante Funeral Home, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01605. Burial will be in Beit Olam Cemetery East in Wayland. Memorial observance will be announced.
