EILEEN (DOUCIMO) GAUTHIER 92 On Friday, October 10, 2014, Eileen Gauthier's 92 Year Journey on Earth has peacefully come to an end at The Christopher House of Worcester after a brief period of declining health. Her loving family was by her side. Cry for Eileen - But not Too Often. Miss Her a Little - But not for Too Long. Remember how much Eileen Loved us all and the Good Times you had together. Miss Eileen - But Let Her Go, for Her Journey now takes her Home to be with the Lord and her Beloved Husband of seventy years, Paul Gauthier who predeceased her in August 2010, and Her Loving Daughter, Gloria Patrone in 1999. Eileen is survived by her son, Reggie Gauthier and his wife Beverley of Millbury; a son-in-law, Richard Patrone of Millbury; two grandsons, Greg Gauthier and his wife Patricia of Millbury; Stephen Griff of Auburn; two great grandsons, Vinny and Danny Gauthier and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Rouffo) Doucimo. Her siblings Anthony Doucimo,Joseph Doucimo, Vieo (Blackie) Doucimo, Raphaela Fenuccio and Mary Woodward all predeceased her. Eileen worked as a nurse's aide at Saint Vincent Hospital for many years before she retired. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. Eileen helped to run many of the Church's fund raising activities over the years. Her favorite past time was playing Bingo and going to the Casinos. But most of all Eileen loved spending time with her Family. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and cherished friend to all of us who will miss her so very much. The Family extends a "Special Thank You" to the Nurses, Aids and Doctors at The Christopher House of Worcester for the Love, Kindness and Compassion they showed to Eileen, it was very much appreciated by her family. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Tuesday, October 14th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, followed by a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd., Worcester, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472. .
