George F. Clark, 92 of Millbury died peacefully Tuesday September 30, 2014 in the Millbury Healthcare Center. George is survived by a son Jeffrey Clark of Milford, a step daughter Susan Banach of Millbury whom he was very close to. and a step son Timothy Banach, also 2 step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. George was born in Northbridge son of the late Irwin and Ellen (Dundas) Clark and lived in Millbury all his life. He was a graduate of Millbury High School. George served his country during WW11 in the United States Army and participated in the European-African, and Middle Eastern Theatre. Upon returning home George worked at the Clark Press Company, and the Pearson Dairy Farm. He also worked in maintenance at the West Millbury Cemetery for many years before he retired. George was a member of the First Congregational Church UCC, of Millbury and sang in the church choir for many years. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday October 8, at the West Millbury Cemetery at 10:00AM. Please meet at the cemetery. There are no services at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am immediately after the burial Wednesday at the First Congregational Church UCC, of Millbury 148 West Main St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Congregational Church UCC, of Millbury in care of the Music Committee, at the above address.
