Llamba Gero

Llamba Gero, 80, of Worcester passed away peacefully Monday, September 29th 2014 Llamba was born on February 2, 1934 in Fier, Albania, a daughter of Sotir and Angelina Gero. She grew up and graduated from nursing school in 1949 in Tirana, Albania and worked as a nurse until, graduating in 1961 as a masseuse in the Czech Republic of Prague. Llamba was a lovely person, a good nurse and a very professional masseuse in her work in Albania. She was an active woman and a devoted sister; A special aunt to all her nieces and nephews and a faithful member of St Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church in Worcester. Llamba is survived by her sister, Kaliopi Demma; Many nieces, nephews and extended family members both in Albania and the United States. Funeral services are and calling hours are private. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
