Patricia (Grady) Therrien, 81, of Worcester, a devoted mother and grandmother passed away surrounded by her cherished family Thursday, September 25th 2014. . Patricia was born in Worcester, one of ten children of James J. and E. Irene (Larivee) Grady. Patricia grew up in Worcester, met and in 1949, married the man she would share the next 57 years happily married; Roland A. "Rollie" Therrien. Together they settled into the Grafton Hill section of Worcester to raise twelve wonderful children. She has lived in Worcester all her life. Patricia's husband Roland Sr. passed away in December of 2006. She survived by her beloved family; her children, Richard Therrien and his wife Elizabeth of Delray Beach Florida, Robert Therrien and his wife Debra, Roy Therrien and his wife Donna, Irene Pisani all of Worcester, Suzette Macaruso and her husband Mark with whom she lived, Rick Therrien and his wife Karen of Auburn; her daughter in law, Sharon Therrien; Three brothers, James Grady of Worcester, Robert Grady of Auburn and John Grady of Millbury; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband Roland Therrien Sr.; six of their children, Roch Therrien passed away September 4th, 2014. Raymond, Mario, Roger and Roland Therrien Jr. and Michelle Balsavich all pre deceased her. Patricia was also pre deceased by six of her siblings, Ruth Moynihan, Susan and Cleo Grady, Esther Chapman, Gertrude Domiano and her twin sister Gloria D'Asciano. Patricia was a member of Holy Family Parish/ St Joseph Church. A dedicated mother, who found her life's enjoyment and inspiration raising her children and grandchildren. The most enjoyable time in her life were spent with her entire family gathered in the summer at beach family vacations or Christmas celebrations. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours, Sunday, September 28th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Monday, September 29th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 am in St Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial next to her husband and three sons will in Notre Dame Cemetery.
