Anne M. (Dunn) Perry, 88, of Worcester, passed away, peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by her family, in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the Millbury Health Care Center. She is survived by a son, Dr. Robert F. Perry and his wife Melissa of Emerald Isle, NC; a daughter, Ann-Marie Sacco and her husband Samuel of Newport, RI; her son in law, Robert Haynes of Sutton; five grandchildren, Justin D. Perry of Wilmington, NC, Petty Officer Jordan R. Perry of Virginia Beach, VA, Elisabeth Sacco of Newport, RI, Shannon and Connor Haynes of Sutton, MA; a sister, Helen (Dunn) Twiss and her husband David J.; two sisters in law, Bette Dunn of Auburn and Lucille Dunn of Worcester; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary-Ellen E. Haynes in 2006 and by her granddaughter, Allison Sacco in 2003. She was also predeceased by two brothers and a sister, John J. Dunn, Jr., Francis R. "Dinny" Dunn, and Mary T. Bristol. Anne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John J. Dunn, Sr. and Mary (Walsh) Dunn, and resided in Worcester for her entire life. She was active for many years in the St. Vincent Hospital Guild, St. Peter's Parish, and a number of other community organizations. Anne's family would like to thank the "angels" at Millbury Health Care. Their caring, compassion and love for Anne and her family will be remembered forever. Calling hours are on Tuesday, September 23, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street in Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 24, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 931 Main Street. She will be buried beside her parents at St. John's Cemetery.
