Anne M. (Mara) Lynch, 98, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, on Monday, September 8, 2014, with loving family members at her side. Her husband, James J. Lynch, predeceased her in 2005. Anne is survived by their loving children, three sons, Garreth J. Lynch, PhD and his wife Cheryl of Westfield, J. Kevin Lynch and his wife Patricia of Wheelwright, MA, and John M. Lynch and his wife Phyllis of Paxton; two daughters, Patricia A. Villecco of Westfield, and Kathleen M. Bergeron and her husband Lt. Col. Daniel Bergeron, USAF of Seaford, VA.; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, William Villecco. Anne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John J. and Mary (McDonald) Mara. She graduated from Worcester Commerce High School and from the Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. Anne worked as a nurse for many years, before retiring to raise her family. She was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary Church and was currently a member of Saint Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. Anne's wishes were that a private service and burial be held at the convenience of her family.
