Paul J. "Nutsy" Sbrogna

Paul J. "Nutsy" Sbrogna,53, of Worcester died unexpectedly Sunday September 7, 2014. His wife Linda Lee (Dusoe) Sbrogna died September 5, 2013. Paul is survived by his loving family; his sister Donna M. Benard and Bruce, his aunt Carol Weldon, several nephews and nieces, among them Thomas, Leah, Brandon, and a great nephew Daymon. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paul also leaves many close friends that he has known all his life and enjoyed hanging out with. Paul was born in Worcester son of the late Raymond and Ruth "Snooky" (Maloney) Sbrogna, and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Burncoat High School. Paul worked at the former Harpies Auto Parts store on Shrewsbury St. for many years. He also worked as a Maintenance agent for several area buildings. Paul and his family were long time members of the church of St Bernard's now Our Lady of Providence,and have lived in that neighborhood for many years. He was a New England sports fan, he enjoyed going camping and a good day at the Casino! Paul was an animal lover of all kinds and had a special affection for dogs. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was always there to help anyone who needed him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Paul's funeral service will be held Thursday at 11AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A period of visitation with the family will be from 9AM to the time of the service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery with his Wife and Parents.
