Roch Therrien, 54, of Worcester passed away Thursday, September 4th 2014 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital after being stricken ill at home. Roch was born in Worcester, one of twelve children of Roland and Patricia (Grady) Therrien. He graduated from Worcester Schools, joined the U.S. Army to serve his country. Roch then returned home accepting a position as a Route driver for various trucking companies including Ken Perro and Sons Trucking. Roch is survived by the love of his life for over 26 years, Sharon R. (Glidden) Therrien, his two step daughters, Kimberly A. Wolf and her husband Charles of Worcester, and Tara H. Gesuse of Hudson; his mother, Patricia (Grady) Therrien, four brothers, Robert, Richard, Roy and Rick Therrien; two sisters, Suzette Macaruso and Irene Pisani; seven grandchildren, Mikayla, Joshua, Tiffany, Todd Jr., Zachery, Niko and Demetri, three great grandchildren Gianna, Monique, and Julianna; Many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his father Roland; A son, Todd E. Marsh passed away in 2001, four brothers, Raymond, Roger, Mario and Roland Therrien, Jr., and a sister, Michelle Balsavich all pre deceased him. Roch was a member of St Stephen's church, The Brown Square Civic Association, and the Chapter #4 DAV. Roch was a quiet man whose whole life centered around family. His wife, kids, grandchildren, mother, brothers and sisters were most important to him. His happiest times were spent with them around him. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours, Monday, September 8th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral will be celebrated Tuesday, September 9th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 am in St Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial with Military Honors next to Todd will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in his name can be made to St Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St.
