Kira Alana Garlick

Kira Alana Garlick, infant daughter of Keith S. and Jennifer C. (Ford) Garlick, was born on August 10, 2014 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Though she fought hard god had bigger plans for her. She sadly passed away on September 3, 2014 in her parents arms with her loving family by her side. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Connor P. Garlick; her three sisters, Kylee M., Kassie S. and Kenzie C. Garlick all of North Grafton; her maternal grandparents, Daniel T. Ford of Worcester and Mary F. Bergeron of Grafton; her paternal grandparents, Paula and Cary Garlick of Worcester; her three uncles, Stephen Ford and his wife Amanda of Shrewsbury, Thomas Ford and Deanna Lefrancois and Timothy Ford all of Worcester; many cousins, aunts and uncles, and her loving godmother Amanda Palmieri. Even though she only spent a short time with her family, she only knew love. "A life may last just for a moment, but memory can make that moment last forever." The Garlick family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at UMass Memorial Hospital NICU especially Clare, Jenna and Christine for making Kira's short life so special. A period of visitation for Kira will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
