Janice (Colorio) Mastrototaro, 68 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2014 at UMass Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Janice's husband of fifteen years, Anthony "Tarnuck" Mastrototaro passed away on May 18, 2008. She is survived by seven brothers, Dominic Colorio of Rutland, Anthony Colorio of Tennessee, James Colorio of Spencer, Steve Colorio of Sutton, Michael Colorio of Millbury, Dennis Colorio of West Boylston and David Colorio of Leicester; three sisters, Pauline Hunt of Glastonbury, CT, Maryann Cataldo of Hopedale and Debbie Cuthbertson of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Kelly) Colorio. She graduated from Commerce High School and has lived in Worcester all her life. Janice worked as a Dispatcher for AA Answering service for over 20 years before she retired in 2013. Services for Janice will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 3-6 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a Charity of your choice.
