Diana L. (Toupin) LaComfora, 62, of West Boylston died peacefully Saturday July 26, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Diana leaves her devoted husband of forty two years Rocky J. LaComfora, her loving children, her son Adam P. LaComfora and his wife Pamela of Grafton, her daughter Jessica J. Gervais and her husband Eric of Worcester. She was the proud grandmother to Tyler, Madison, AJ, Amber, and Dominic. Diana also leaves a brother Brian Toupin and his wife Andrea of Grafton, and many close nephews and nieces. Diana was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Maurice and Rita (Barrier) Toupin and has lived in West Boylston for 35 years. She was a graduate of Grafton High School. Diana was the Food Services Director for the Town of West Boylston School Department for many years before she retired. She was a long time volunteer for the West Boylston Senior Center, and was a member of the Friends of West Boylston organization. Diana was very active in town and was always there to help anyone in need. She delivered Meals on Wheels as part of her dedication to the people of West Boylston. Diana enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts, and loved to travel with Rocky, together they embarked on 35 cruises together. However her most treasured times were those she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Diana enjoyed life and will be terribly missed by her family and friends. A funeral service for Diana will be held on Tuesday July 29, at 10:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Monday evening. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the West Boylston Senior Center 127 Hartwell St. West Boylston Ma.01583.
