Arthur A Lawton, Sr.

Arthur A. Lawton, Sr., 81, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 in UMass Hospital. Arthur leaves a son, Thomas R. Lawton and his wife Linda; four daughters, Deborah A. Goodman, Tracy L. Cartagna and her husband David, Kelly A. Petrone, and Gloria J. Rosario and her husband Danny, all of Worcester; a brother, Donald Lawton in New York; two sisters, Jean Swensen and Alice Davey; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Arthur A. Lawton, Jr. and Michael J. Lawton; three brothers, Michael, Clarence "Bud" and Jerry Lawton and by a sister, Shirley LaVigne. He was born in Albany, New York, son of the late Michael Sr. and Elizabeth (Brisee) Lawton. Funeral Services will be held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
