Catherine (Reeks) Middleton

Catherine (Reeks) Middleton, 64 of Chicopee formerly of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday July 15, 2014 in the Renaissance Manor Center. She is survived by her husband of 13 years Charles Middleton of Chicopee, two sisters; Esther A. Butler and her husband George of Maryland, and Elizabeth Harlacher wife of the late Wayne Harlacher of Oakham, two nieces, Ashley and Meghan, and two nephews, Joseph and Charles. Catherine was born in Worcester daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Rahall) Reeks and lived in Worcester most of her life before moving to Chicopee. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Catherine worked for the Estes Trucking Company as their Regional OS&D Operational Specialist for many years and was still working before she became ill. She also worked at several other Trucking Companies and had extensive knowledge of the Trucking Industry. While living in Worcester she was a long time member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Catherine loved going to the beach, and was a great baker. She enjoyed Cake baking and decorating. However her most treasured times were those spent with her family. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Catherine's funeral will be held Saturday July 19, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Service at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 256 Hamilton St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 4PM to 7:30PM. on Friday. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 256 Hamilton St. Worcester MA.01604.
