Jeanette F. (Noel) Szaban, 72 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in St, Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette is survived by her beloved husband of thirty four years, Fredrick Szaban; her three children, Karl W. Holden of South Boston, Lynn M. LaFrance and her husband Richard of Cherry Valley and Brenda A Berard of Spencer; a brother, Roger Harty of Oxford; two sisters, Deborah Cooper and Donna Parsekian both of Worcester; nine grandchildren including her adopted granddaughter, Tiffany M. Drinkwater with whom she lived; five great grandchildren; a step-son, Michael Szaban and his wife Kathy of Holden; three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Jeanette also leaves her longtime friend, Jacqueline Howe of Worcester and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her daughter, Kara-Lee A. Holden and a sister, Antoinette Gilroy. Jeanette was born in Lewiston, ME; daughter of the late Leon and Victoria (Flynn) Noel. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and has lived in Worcester most of her life. Jeanette worked as a press operator for Stanley Tool Co. for many years. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 4-7p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury at the convenience of the family.
