Rosalie I. (Prevosk) Dell'Olio, 87, of Millbury, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Her loving husband of fifty-one years, Alphonse J. Dell'Olio, predeceased her in 1998. Rosalie is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Elizabeth A. Corio and her husband Stephen of Worcester and Charlton; a son, Robert J. Dell'Olio and his fiancé Cheryl Rundlett of Millbury; her daughter in law, Judy Dell'Olio of Brownville, Maine, wife of her son, Louis P. Dell'Olio, who predeceased her in November 2013; a brother, William Prevosk of Florida; six grandchildren, Nicole Corio, Rebecca Salem and her husband William, Mark Dell'Olio, Michael Dell'Olio, Maxwell Dell'Olio and Alyssa Duffy; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester on September 4, 1926, daughter of the late, Stanley Piwowarski and Harriet (Litwinski) Piwowarski LaComfora. She graduated from Commerce High School, and after marrying her beloved Alphonse, they lived in Worcester, before moving to Millbury. Rosalie adored her family and enjoyed many years of wonderful vacations on Cape Cod, especially at Onset Beach. She enjoyed baking, crossword puzzles, reading, music, dancing and loved animals. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Calling hours for Rosalie will be held on Monday morning, June 30, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a procession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 23 Mulberry Street, Worcester, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
