Marsha (Tannebring) Falcone, 71, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 1st surrounded by the family she loved after a seven month courageous battle with lung cancer Marsha was born in Worcester, one of four children of the late Roland and Pauline (Chase) Tannebring. She grew up in Worcester, and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School. In 1963, Marsha married Michael G. "Jerry" Falcone and together they settled in the Lakeview neighborhood of Worcester to raise their family enjoying the next 46 years happily until Jerry passed away in 2007. She continued to live in her home until the time of her death. Marsha co-owned and operated with her husband Jerry, the Facemakers Company in Shrewsbury more than 29 years before retiring. She is survived by her devoted family, Michael Falcone, his wife Bonni and their children, Nicholas, Mia and Nina all of Charlton, Katherine L. Simmarano, her husband Vincent and their children Sophia and Michael all of Worcester; a sister, Judith "Judy" Hickey of Martha's Vineyard. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A brother William Tannebring and a sister, Nancy Felicetti pre deceased her. Marsha was a longtime member of the former St Margaret Mary Church. A member of St Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. She loved to garden, cook, travel, the beaches of Cape Cod and most of all attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who lived her life for her family. There was nothing more important in her life than her family; especially her grandchildren. Having them around her during the holidays and special moments were her life's special times. Marsha's funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 5th at 11:30 am in St Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd, Shrewsbury. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lung Cancer Research, care of the American Cancer Society, 44 Bearfoot Rd, suite 1C, Northborough, 01532.
