Robert J. Johnson, 53, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 25th in St. Vincent Hospital. Robert was born in Worcester; his mother was the late Gail A. (Ducharme) Johnson. He grew up and lived in Worcester most of his life. Robert is survived by his life partner of 10 years, Noreen Morgan; five sons, Zackary and Adam Johnson, Christopher, Brandon Matos all of Worcester, and Matthew Matos of North Brookfield; his father, Leslie R. "Les" Johnson of Millbury; two brothers, Vincent J. Johnson and his wife Wendy. Eric L. Johnson and his wife Karen all of Oxford; two sisters, Charlene S. Johnson of Rochester NY, Lynn A. Jordan and her husband Brian of Rutland; five grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Robert was an exterior carpenter who owned and operated Johnson and Sons Roofing and Siding for many years. Robert was an avid golfer, he loved to cook, the beach and fishing especially striper fishing. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Friday May 30th from 10:30 am to 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. Followed by his funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will be private. Burial will be private.
