Theresa C. Carroll

Theresa C. (McCormack) Carroll, a loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on May 24, 2014 in the Golden Living Center of Worcester. She was 78 years old and was surrounded at the end by her adoring family. Theresa is survived by her son, Edward B. Carroll, III of Worcester; three daughters, Catherine A. Ferraro of Auburn, Jacqueline M. Forrest and her husband Mark of Underhill, VT and Jennifer C. Fahlin and her husband William of Charlton; five grandchildren, Edward B. Carroll, IV, Brian Carroll, and Daniel DiRoberto all of Worcester, Rachel and Courtney Fahlin of Charlton and Nigel Forrest of Colchester, VT and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a grandson, Steven M. DiRoberto and a brother John McCormack. Theresa was born in London, England, daughter of William and Catherine (Ryan) McCormack. She worked as an insurance representative for AAA for many years. She loved the beach, enjoyed playing bingo, reading and family gatherings. Family, friends and others whose lives Theresa touched are invited to say their last goodbyes, on Wednesday, May 28th at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Theresa's funeral service will directly follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held with the family privately. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
