Mary L. (Milluzzo) Jasper, 71, a longtime Boylston resident and town employee passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 20th 2014 with family gathered by her side. Mary was born in Worcester the daughter of Paul S. and Mary J. (Cooney) Milluzzo. She grew up in Worcester, graduated from Commerce High School. She attended Quinsigamond Community College, later earning her bachelor's degree. She moved to Boylston and has lived there for over 40 years. Mary worked as a Town of Boylston employee for over 37 years. She began as a part time Police Officer and later as Assistant Town Clerk before retiring. Mary is survived by the family she loved and whom loved her; her four children, Joan M. Levasseur, her husband Roger and their children Matthew and Heather, Paul J. Jasper, Peter M. Jasper and his children, Kevin and Mollie all of Worcester, Mary-Jane Costa, her husband Jay and their children Grace and Jack of Shrewsbury; a nephew and extended family and friends. A brother, Paul J. Milluzzo passed away in 2008. Mary was a devoted and active Boylston Resident; she was a member of St Mary of the Hills Church, the Boylston Garden Club, Red Hat Society, Boylston Grange, Habitat for Humanity, Lions Club and a member of the Boylston Cemetery Commission. She was also a member of the Worcester Lodge #168, Order Sons of Italy. Mary was also a devoted mother, who cherished her children and grandchildren. Her happiest and proudest moments were spent with them. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Thursday (Today) from 4 pm to 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Friday May 23rd from the funeral home with a procession to St Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross St. where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
