Richard J. Bedard, 55, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 26 th 2014 with his devoted sister and brother in law by his bedside. Richard was born in Worcester, the son of the late Louis and Florence (Orsine) Bedard. He grew up in Worcester graduated from South High School and has lived here all his life. Richard is survived by his devoted sister and brother in law, Carol and Douglas Hull of North Oxford; his longtime companion Kathy Armstrong; nephews John Bedard and Steven Hull; his grand niece and nephew Justin and Aubriana; his dog and best friend Oscar; Extended family and many good friends including Brian and Scott. Richard worked many years as a machinist for the Smith Valve Company before retiring due to illness. Richard was a quiet, gentile soul, who loved to cook, loved to work on cars and cherished being with his family. Funeral services and burial in St. Johns Cemetery are private. Memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St. Worcester.
