Paul L Bisson

Paul L. Bisson, 89 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Paul is survived by his sister, Antoinette Dee of Spencer; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by four brothers, Roland, Henry, Gerard and Raymond Bisson; one sister, Orianna O'Brien. Paul was born in Worcester, a son of the late Paul J. and Louisa (Giroux) Bisson and has lived here all his life. Paul worked in the maintenance department for Bancroft School retiring in the 1980's. He previous worked as a shoe maker for the former Frank H. Pfeiffer Co, Inc. for many years. Paul was a member of Holy Family Parish. He enjoyed carving animals out of wood in particular birds and was an avid gardener. Services for Paul will be held on Wednesday April 30th 2014 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 am in Holy Family Parish, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester, MA. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the funeral home prior to departing for his funeral mass.
