Earl G. Warner, 94 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014 at home. Earl's wife of 58 years, Hazel K. (Hawton-Hill) Warner passed away on February 19, 2005. Earl is survived by three sons, William K. Warner and his wife Leslye of Holden, Stephen E. Warner and his wife Donna of Worcester and Richard R. Allen of England; five grandchildren, Karl W. Warner and his wife Nancy of Missouri, Ashlye A. Zander-Warner and her husband Jeffrey of Worcester, Daniel E. Warner of Worcester, Stephanie M. Myotte and her husband Shawn of Dudley and Tracy Fowler of England; two great grandchildren, Holden Warner of Missouri and Nathan Fowler of England. He is predeceased by four sisters. Earl was born in Hartford and grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut, a son of the late William H. and Maude Warner. He graduated from Connecticut Schools and later enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp. serving his country during WWII where he received a Purple Heart. After his tour duty, Earl worked as a Communication Engineer for Fred G. Walters and Coghlin Electric for fifty years before his retirement in 2000. He was member of All Saints Episcopal Church where he was involved in the churches bowling league. Earl was also an avid stamp collector. A period of visitation for Earl will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
