David J Szwejtys

David J. Szwejtys, 56, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in his home, surrounded by loving family. David is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Janice Hagerstrom-Szwejtys; his father, Walter Szwejtys of Yonkers, New York; three brothers and two sisters, Joseph, Walter, Thomas, Carol and Lori Szwejtys all of New York. David was born in Yonkers, New York, son of the late Wanda Szwejtys. He lived there for many years before moving to Worcester in 2002. He worked as a truck driver for Leaseway Transportation and Coca Cola Company. He loved going to Cape Cod and walking along the beach. A Calling Hour will be on Tuesday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by his Funeral Service at 11 a.m., all occurring in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOM E & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
