Dorothy Rana

Dorothy (Pedone) Rana, 93, of Worcester, died peacefully Thursday, February 13, 2014 in UMass Memorial Health Care surrounding by her loving family. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Peter Ciaccio and his wife Marcia of Jefferson and Paul Ciaccio and his wife Rinda of Bristol, RI; two daughters, Carol A. Rickert and Bernadette J. White both of Worcester; a brother, Louis Pedone of Ashland and a sister, Grace Sposato of Worcester; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a brother, John Pedone. Dorothy was born on September 30, 1920 in Worcester, the daughter of the late Pantalena and Lisabetto (Capriolo) Pedone. Dorothy cherished her family and friends. The greatest moments in her life were the times she could spend caring for her grandchildren and watching them grow.
